Sticker Sayings

Here is a bumper sticker I took a picture of img00035 this morning from the car I parked next to:

If you were to guess, what is this car owner seeking to say to the world?  Do you agree with them?

  1. Wow, was your ABF lesson of yesterday ever on target. Maybe it should be required for church membership.

  2. I actually thought of using this bumper sticker yesterday…but would clog things up with too many illustrations. Definitely flows with yesterday’s subject.

Thanks for the opportunity to come in!

  3. What was your ABF about? Feel like posting your notes? 🙂

That’s an awesome bumper sticker, btw.

  4. I was pretty much an extended version of this past post:

  5. …please don’t email your junk.

my take on the bumper sticker is that the person is trying to say that Christians are quick to judge and often condemn the very people we are trying to save.

That being said, it is a bumper sticker and just like any “one-liner rhymer”, attempts to simplify a very complex issue. Of course many Christians are too quick to judge and often miss the fact that we are called to love people above all else. That being said, I do not agree that hoping a woman does not get an abortion and then disagreeing with her child’s homosexual lifestyle means I have done them a disservice. I can still love them and invest in a relationship with them without “fighting for thier rights”, which is a buzzword/vacant statement anyway

  6. I think this comment was exceptional:

Thanks for adding to the conversation.
